1954 Cuno Bistram

Little is known about this attractive little single-seater named after its designer/builder. It seems that the Bistram family was influential and well known in Hamburg. The steel tube ladder frame features independent coil spring suspension, and the 150cc ILO motor drives only one wheel by chain. The original registration papers indicate that it was actually licensed for use on the road.A two-page colour photo of this car was featured in a German Oldtimer magazine, but no history is given, other than that perhaps fifty were built, a number that can’t be substantiated.
